Module 4:

Interviewing and Managing Offers

Event Details
Develop a realistic view of the interview process and calm your concerns.  Understand the types of interviews you may face and learn how to use your marketing toolkit to answer virtually any question.  Develop strategies to address liabilities, get your own questions answered, and learn how to close the sale!  Other helpful hints, including managing the offer, will be shared so that you will be prepared to advance from job search to job acceptance.

Learning Objectives
1.  Identify interview truths and myths.
2.  Identify preparation needed to succeed in any interview.
3.  Apply rehearsal techniques to increase confidence.
4.  Manage your interview performance to maximize your offers.
5.  Assess the job offer relative to employment quality.

It is strongly recommended that you have a copy of the Participant Mini-Workbook. The workbook allows you to follow the presentation, take notes and it provides details on individual and group exercises.

#7 - Education (K-12, College, Adult Learning, Administration, Management)

#8 - Healthcare (Clinical, Non-Clinical)

#9 - Real Estate and Construction (Residential, Commercial, Industrial)

#10 - Finance and Accounting (Internal, Banking, Investing, Management)

#11 - Non-Profit (Grassroots, Management, Administration)

Registration and Fees
There is no cost for this seminar, courtesy of the support and partnership with Mesa Community College.

Voluntary donations will be much appreciated to assist in funding ongoing operating costs for this group.  Suggested donation amount is $5 per meeting.

Due to limited seating capacity, pre-registration is required.  Walk-ins will be seated on a space available basis.

SJN Southeast meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of each month.

This meeting is rescheduled from November 26th, Thanksgiving Day holiday.

Dress Code
Dress is business casual for this event.
